Introduction To Kimber Associates.
Kimber Associates is the trading name used by me (Jim Kimber), operating usually as a ‘sole trader’. My aim is to provide complete Project Management services, to my clients, in any areas for which I have the expertise. Since 1998 I have put over 40 companies through either ISO 9001 or 9002 Certification, the large majority of these have been with Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA). Although I am happy to work with any Assessment Body should my client have a specific preference, LRQA are my recommended first choice.
Over 90% of my clients have stayed with me for continued support following Certification, the remainder selecting to resource this in-house. I have also implemented Safety Systems for clients and, where practicable, have fully integrated this with the existing Quality System.
Further activities undertaken on behalf of clients include: Project Management relating to restructuring; CDM support in the capacity of Planning Supervisor and/or Site Auditor; Performing Safety Inspections of client premises and Risk Assessments.
Clients include anything from companies comprising of 2 staff, to large national businesses. The verity of functions covered includes (but is not confined to): Construction & Civil Engineering; Manufacture of Electrical/Electronic Components; Direct Marketing; Printing; Recruitment & Employment Services. Computing & IT Consultancy (including for ‘TickIT’).
Note: For larger projects I may employ the assistance of other specialists, should this be the case it would be agreed with the client prior to commencement of the project and I would be wholly responsible for the performance of support resources.
